I need some help recommendations on what product I need to shift some residue left behind,when I decided yesterday to rip out the cheap and nasty dealer supplied tax disc holder.

I finally managed to give my car a good wash and clean up it looks really good but that residue on the screen is really bugging me, it has to go so please my fellow Briskskodians help:-)

Most glass cleaners would do it with a microfibre.

A product like alcohol (IPA) will shift it quickly

Follow that with a wipe with Glass Cleaner

Tar & glue/adhesive remover, followed by a glass cleaner

Any other suggestions? LOL

Seriously..You really can use anything of this type...even Panel wipe, Meths, Petrol, White Spirit etc...

The best option is alcohol (one of the most useful things to have is a bottle of isopropyl alcohol) as it doesn't leave a residue. Other things suggested above can leave a residue...preventing adhesion of any other disc-holder.
