Featured Replies

Rear driver door trim has come loose, can I use a normal super glue on this?

Cheers!!

Inside?

Outside?

A bit more info might be useful.

Superglue never a good idea as once it's stuck - it's stuck.

What happens if the trim needs to be removed for access in the future?

Depends on where about it's loose from. I tend to use double sided tape on a few flat surfaces that need to be held.

Can be a pain to open up or remove later but it will hold.

Is it broken plastic clips on the panel?

A bit more info on your problem may help.

Outside - the end nearest rear door handle - about 4cm has come away from the door - sprung up about 3mm from the door surface

Is your car still under warranty  :wonder:  if so get the dealer to have a look, as it should be covered.

Would be best to have the trim replaced as it's held on with two bonding tapes on the back of the trim, rather than glued back in place which might damage the paint.
