Wheel refurb

Featured Replies

Anybody in NW Kent had a wheel(s) refurb.

Who did you use.

Only face damage, but hissed off!

Lepsons in Gillingham is pretty well known for alloy wheel repair etc, they are drop off only though, dont believe the do a mobile service but you pay roughly the same for both so why not have it done proper!!

Or spit and polish in Tonbridge

Thanks lads, seen then all via search engine.

I need to be able to take the car, wait while they repair and go home. If it takes all day, no problem.

Who can offer this service?

Strange the avatars above, 3 Blue Octys'?

Im guessing we all drive the same Race blue Octys!!

inspraytionsmartrepair offer same day for extra.

Best colour IMHO!!!

There's a post somewhere on this site that gives the correct paint code for the vRS alloy wheels, I've searched but can't find it again, anybody know where I can find it?

Do you not have a spare wheel (or can you borrow one?)

Most same day repairs will cost the same as a full refurb yet they only repair the damaged bit.

Gizmo, I do have a spare wheel and I only have surface damage to the paint/lacquer.

A full refurb is unnecessary for the above reasons. It will be an additional cost that is not justified (unless you know different)?

From my experience a full refurb is usually cheaper and obviously much better than a smart repair, so unless you really need the wheel done there and then it is better to get it fully refurbished.

Lepsons.... although not perfect (I am being OCD here) are by far the best around, the only other person who may be better is literally in the unit opposite (Kelly @ KDS), but I know he used to get Lepsons to do his - not sure if that is still the case or if he does his own refurbs now?

Wheel is at inspraytionsmartrepair, full refurb.

They recommended this as the chipped paintwork was up to the rim.

They also said they'd match the colour ,,,,,

Collecting on Wednesday.

They said Wednesday and it was, well just. Refurbed wheel was fitted,,,, 17.00hrs.

Looks okay but does anybody buy a car when it's getting dark and it's wet?

Looky Looky in the morning.

Forgot to add, there was a Suzuki Swift there this evening on axel stands, didn't know they done plastic wheels as well. :giggle:

My one wheel was 54 squids, four Suzuki wheels,,,, £1.00?
