Just a quick one.  I have been on the Skoda UK website and noticed the Octavias are 0%.  Does anyone know if this includes the petrol vRS?

No it's not

As above. The vRS was dropped from the 0% offer at the end of December.

But it is only 2.9% on the vRS so it's till cheap.

As above, 0% was dropped, but 2.9% is still far better than any bank loan rate and far better than other makes offer for their cars.

 

Also, the costs for the 0% offer were taken out of dealer margins so it should now be possible to obtain bigger discounts, offsetting much of the APR increase. 

These deals aren't quite what they say on the can. My dealer was pretty clear that finance costs at either O or 2.9% restrict the discount he can offer - this is also reflected in the Carwow quotes I received.

I second that - I can get 14% discount cash deal, but I'm struggling to get 6% with PCP at 2.5% (the quotes I have had in the last few days from multiple dealers have been 2.5 not 2.9).
