Engine cover coloured badge part number help!

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I feel like I've spent hours of my life searching for the right part number but keep finding the number for the black badge...... And I want to retro fit the green one...

So, can someone humour me and tell me what number I need to order to put some colour back on my engine cover please???

Geeky I know but simple things and all that..... Lol

Ta.

Matt

I'm 99% sure the diameter of the colour engine cover badge

is very slightly smaller and mounted differently to the external ones.

The bona fide item does not have a curve. with the engine cover being

flat.

That's what I thought, it's a totally flat badge...

I did things the other way and fitted the black badges to the

front and rear of mine and I had to generously apply heat until

I had formed a curve so they would follow the bodywork because in their

proper application they are fixed to a flat surface.

Yip, that's the monkey!

Should look better than the boring black one that's on there at present.

Now if only I could do something about the lack of battery cover on the late blt engined vrs's.......

No unfortunately, I've already bought that cover as its listed for the BLT engine but it goes nowhere near. Oh we'll, just have to clean up what's there
