Paint damage from door seal

Hi

What do you think this looks like ?

Door seal rubbing against paint work or maybe dirt ?

I cant remove it with my nails but it feel like a bump when i scratch it.

It's the left front door

Please check your superb if it has the same thing :-(

Can't see it perfectly but it looks like a bit of tar to me, also it doesn't look like the door seal goes up that far anyway?

I might not be from the sealing.. But it looks like it.

Masking tape edge??

Had any bodywork?

Hmm not that i know of :-(

And i cant see any difference in the color of the car.

Have you tried using a chamois or microfibre cloth on it?

Looks like there is some grit in the seal that is sratching the painwork when the door is opened/closed

 

Try using a fine polish on the scratches, and giving the seal a good clean

It could be deposits that are coming out of the water that gets trapped against the seal.

I need to visit a paintshop they should know

Just been to the paint shop.

It is just some "clear paint" it can be remove with some polish.
