I know there's probably no right or wromg answer but I'm looking to buy an Octavia Estate (oer perhaps a Leon!) under the current offers with a small part ex of around £2k.

 

Some people have said that the best time is now as they are chasing 1st March registration targets and others have said wait until end of March as end of financial year targets are in play.

 

I expect it will just depend on how good the dealer is and how near they are to any target at any given time but I would be grateful for any wise words fropm others.

I suspect it will depend on the dealer and what their sales are at.  It's virtually impossible you'll order a car this week or next and get a March 2014 delivery unless you drop very lucky and find a cancelled order or stock car somewhere.  Demand seems very high at the moment.

 

Best chance for a good deal seems to be using a broker (carwow gets a few mentions on here - not used them myself - and many others are available), rather than playing the timing game - IMHO.
