Abs and traction flickering on and off, power steering lifht

Featured Replies

Hi started the car to day fabia vrs, Abs and traction light was flickering randomly, power steering light is on, also airbag light, the battary has been of the car and has stood for around 2 months, tryed to read with autocom diagnostic, comes back with,

18061 fault codes in abs controller- intermittent

18956 can bus performance problem- intermittent

I have tried to acsess the abs module through the diagnostic but it couldn't connect, but that may be due to software. Has anyone got any ideas what it could be.

Make the sure the battery is Fully charged! A low battery caused me to have these warning lights on dash! Charged it up and then had no lights.

Think I've found the problem, take the car side loom of the power steering pump the dash lights go normal, plug the pump back in and it goes on a mad 1 playing about with the plugs on the pump you can get the dash like a disco.

Going to get a second hand pump does it need coding, Also mine doesn't have the part number on can I use any power steering pump such as

I know nothing technical at all. Nothing! But I assume you checked the 40a fuse on the battery in the engine bay? Read that being busted does some weird stuff sometimes? Did on mine.
