Auto Finesse `Iron Out`

Featured Replies

I see that IRON X from CYC is yet another product out of stock. Seems to be alot of this lately...anyway, is this `Iron Out` any good?

Many thanks

Mike.

Thanks for that, Chris.

Please tell me...is the `Auto Wheel` better than `Valet Pro Bilberry Wheel Cleaner` which is what I'm intending to buy on my next order?

Regards

Mike.

Its different...as I does another job that Bilberry cant do..ie remove iron particles

Wash with Bilberry and then apply the Auto Wheel..It will turn red as it dissolves the Iron patricles left

Yes Andy..or use a brush as well..leave for 15 minutes max, then powerwash off

I assume Korrosol is used in the same way, but without the brush

Yes it is

Spray over the car and then powerwash off

I use Iron Out - works fine for me.

There are many iron off/out/remover products that do the same job...only slightly differently, but the difference in cost can be alarming

Whatever make you choose, they are all good..I like Carplan Hot Wheels..I buy it at Sainsburys and slip it into the weekly shopping

@ £9.99 for 500 cl.... its great value and is no less effective than any other Iron remover

Difference in cost can come down to the which chemicals are used.

For me this is working really well: http://www.envyvaleting.co.uk/products_info.asp?id=357 But I buy it in the 5 Litre bottles.

PW the wheels, clean with wheel cleaner then follow with the fallout remover.

You can then target the main deposits rather than just spraying onto brake dust.

As for bodywork, wash as normal, make sure tar is removed, then you can spray onto the body and wipe it around with a grout sponge (with light pressure).

HTH
