Vinyl Wrap on wood?

Featured Replies

Having no experience with wrapping, just wondering if it wood stick to mdf (lol get it?), seriously though, would it?

I'm not sure if the self adhesive would work very well, I think it would if you could lend it a helping hand with some spray on adhesive perhaps.

Maybe a spray on wood lacquer first to make it a better surface to stick to. Unsure if you can get stuff to put on mdf though like you can on real woods like oak etc.

As said youd need something to seal the wood first. .so its non absorbant. . .maby a coat of pva would work.

the guys are right, you really need a smooth surface, a coat of lacquer should do it.

What are you thinking of wrapping?

Ok cheers chaps. Just thinking about what to do with my golf heated seat switches. Think I'm going to try and mount them in some wood and secure it underneath the heater controls.

Put em in the blanks at the side of the rear heated window switch ;-)

Too big though mate, else I would lol. I have the proper fabia switches too but from what I gather it'll just be easier to use the golf ones as they are golf seats so would save the messing trying to sort control modules out too.
