Decided to wash and polish Betty today. All went well and she looks nice and shiny. Even wiped downed the interior just so it smells nice.

Walked away from the car for literally 5 mins and the other half shouts me to come saying someone has scraped the car. I was more mad I spent roughly 3hrs cleaning and polishing her.

Noticed a small scuff on the bumper. :(

The guy who did it did come and give his details. There's no physical damage as everything is still aligned and straight.

Just a bit peed off to see my hard work down the drain.

I'll post pics later as this was posted on mobile.

Sorry to hear, but on the plus side the other driver passed on their details, a rare breed these days. Hope you can get it sorted

I do sympathise and it must have been maddening for you.

As said though, at least they didn't drive off and leave you footing the bill

Wounder!

Just had a look at the other car (didn't want to do it in daylight and be seen as nosey). Looks like I got away quite well. The offending car has a scratched headlight.

So I think that is 1-0 to me
