Ordered 3/02/2014 and nothing from dealer about a build week yet. Anyone order on a similar date?

I think a large portion of December orders haven't been blessed with a date yet, let alone Jan/Feb ones.....

build weeks are quite subjective at the moment. Lots of people on here waiting for them, having them moved etc.

 

Your order will be given a provisional build week, at some point, there is no hard and fast rule that this will be received x weeks after the order is placed.

Once your order is on the system it can move forward or backwards and even disappear from the list.

The week before your order is due you will get a confirmed build week. Once this status has been obtained it is very rare that the build week will change.

 

As tuonopepper states above orders placed in December, and some from earlier last year have still not got build dates. I ordered in October and only got a provisional build date in January. Your build date can be affected by the model you have chosen and the options you have requested.

 

Sit back, continue to drive the transit and wait for your car to be built.
