is this common promotion or is that a good deal,

The quoted price of a basic greenline ( no extras and standard paint) is £17,815  some where there is a fiver difference so quids in YAY.  Maybe they throw in a car smelly too.

I was wondering if other dealers had a similar deal or this was a good deal from my dealer only

 

and to make others aware of the deal

 

but looking at the spec of the rapid GL not impressed as in some respects it would be a downgrade compared to my existing fabia GLII for me as I am starting to look at options for 18 months time when my contract is nearing the end,

 

currently looking like pay final payment and keep the car a few more years as my usage has changed from 50 miles a day to 40 miles a week and car only moving 2 days a week, so can't justify £150+  month for a new car with so little use

 

I wasn't discounting any models from citigo to yeti, but to be honest at full price the rapids do not look good value which is part the reason the offer above caught my eye as it made the rapid GL a reasonable price for the spec

That is a good price.. can I ask in what respect the Rapid would be a downgrade vs. the Fabia GL2?

does not appear to have the same level of equipment as standard, tpm, cruise, etc

A quick look on the Skoda UK website confirmed it is based on an S and has very little in the way of available options either.

 

Good discount on these cars, but personally I think I'd look around for a nicely specced Elegance Greentec TDI if you're looking for a diesel - not much difference in consumption/CO2 either:

 

Greenline claims 74.3mpg combined and 99g/km C02.

Greentec 90PS: 72.4mpg and 104g/km CO2

Greentec 105PS: 70.6MPG and 106g/km CO2
