RNS315 + Galaxy Nexus

Featured Replies

Have an Amunsden + in my current car.

Ran an iphone4 on it up to recently and all worked ok for me.

I did miss the feature of text coming through over speakers.

So I changed to a Nexus,

All connected ok but now it appaers the phone book transferred ok but the received calls / missed calls / Dialed calls etc. are no longer saved.

Plus I still do not have the text feature i was hoping for,

On Hindsight I think it was in my last vRS with Bolero and bluetooth I had this feature with a nokia Lumia Phone.

Is it a different bluetooth system in the Amunsden?

Not too pushed about the text to be honest but would like to be able to recall numbers rather than searching for them.

Thanks

You need to activate remote sim access in bluetooth settings for the car kit profile.

You may have to delete the car and re-pair to get the option to show.

Where do  activate sim access?

Also

Delete the car from the phone

or

Delete phone from the car

Or Both?

Thanks

Delete off the phone.

Once re-paired Keep an eye out for the message about allowing access to contacts and call history and tick the box

Did that and history etc. Now works.

Must check out text messages later.

Thanks for your help
