Octavia VRS budget front ARB mods, TT ARB, LEON cupra ARB?

Featured Replies

This may have been discussed, if so I couldn't find it! My project car (budget octy MK1 VRS) came with no front ARB. on my tight budget, I'm looking for a cheap alternative, (stock vrs, tt, etc, may have budget for a rear arb later) no VRS ARB's on evilbay etc at the moment, I am wondering if I will get away with the 225 TT front ARB for now? it's only one mm thicker I think?

Mk1 I assume?

How much are you looking to spend, r32 FARB is an option and if you find 1 on fleabay they aren't to badly priced

r32 23mm bar is only good if you are upgrading the rear too at the same time to something like a 24-28mm rear bar (28mm best with the 23mm front r32 bar imo) otherwise you will increase understeer (already bad on these)

i probably have a spare vrs stock bar for sale if i can find it, pm me if you want.

Cheers all, I found a cheap tt bar (19mm) going to run with that and short links as it will be fairly low and I dont want any drive shaft contact....
