So. I have always had my cars cleaning until I took delivery of my first Skoda. A race blue VRS hatch.

So I decided I would start looking on here and the detailing forum. I didn't realise there were so many products.

Now here comes the whoops. I decided I needed to invest in some products. I shouldn't have started my internet shopping after a day in london in a German bar. As a result. ....

This lot was delivered this morning.

Now to learn what to do with it all. Oh and hide it from the Mrs.....

If there is a scratch or scratches, get some Gtechnik P1 and polish them out by hand.

Hard work but no damage, unlike the T Cut will cause

Maguires wheel brush...

Done....few hours of playing with different products...

What did you do/use?

I'll try and get this right. I haven't got access to a pressure washer at the moment so the wash stage is slightly harder.

Started with rinsing the car and then a clean with the auto finesse lather washing with a two bucket method.

Then dried with the wooly mammoth drying towel.

Wiped over to catch the rest of the water with a new micro fiber cloth.

Wheels were then cleaned with SONAX Full Effect Wheel Cleaner the dried.

Wheels treated with autoglym sealer

Tyres coated with SONAX Xtreme Tyre Gel

Car then clay barred using some old quick detailer as a lube.

Windows cleaned with autoglym quick glass.

Then two coats of Britemax Vantage wax.

Finished off with some SONAX Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer.
