Which hose coupler so I need?

Featured Replies

I'm wanting to change the top boost pipe for an ally pipe, I have an egr delete on the way so I won't need the coupler for the egr valve, which type do I need for the one that goes behind the headlight down near the intercooler? I've messaged the guy who started the make your own top boost pipe thread but I've had no reply and the links he has put up some have expired on eBay. I think it's a 45 degree ally bend I need, a 45 degree silicone hose and some clamps

Stop! another chap has just put a message on the same thread, lol see below.

you need:

90 degree silicone to 70 degree ss pipe to 45 degree silicone to the bayonett coupler into the intercooler. he has most of the sizes on the links but if in doubt........ get your ruler out!

I'm interested in doing this boost pipe conversion to my car but I just want to check I have the right parts before I buy anything.
So starting from the intercooler:
Is this the right coupler? http://www.forgemoto...&product=FMABHC
which goes on to this 45 degree pipe? http://www.autosilic...15-colours.html
which connects to this metal pipe(my engine is a pd100 so it doesn't have this pipe) http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1423.l2649
which connects to the EGR delete http://www.autosilic...hoose-size.html

Not easy to read I know, but if anyone can help that would be great.
Thanks :)

Thanks very much ! Have them parts been confirmed as the correct ones?

And which size coupler is it that's needed?

yeah, thats the parts. i think the coupler is 61mm at the intercooler and 51mm on the hose side.
