I've No Idea What I Did......... !

Featured Replies

On switching off last night I noticed the fuel consumption ("since last refuel") on the Maxidot had zeroed - thought nothing of it.

Today whilst driving I noticed the display was cycling between 300 mpg (!?!) and down to zero rapidly, & then back to 300 mpg again, continuing like this constantly. I also noticed the "Since last refuel" moniker had disappeared too.

Anyway, I fiddled with the rotating button on the right steering wheel spoke and eventually all was restored to normal, since when there's been no problems at all.

I don't know what I did to instigate the "fault", but wouldn't mind it sticking at (& providing) 300 mpg !!

You switched it to display instant consumption.

No fault, you had the maxidot showing instant MPG instead of average MPG.

If you press the right wheel when on average MPG you can cycle through since start, refuel and long term.

Edit, beware press and hold the right wheel and the average MPG is set to zero.
