Just overtaking a couple of cars in my VRS tdi bang from under the bonnet car now in limp mode and glow plugs light flashing on dash.

 

Anyone else had this problem?

 

Car is in limp mode and now needs recovery

 

Whining from under bonnet. No time to investigate further as off out on the lash now.

 

Any feedback appreciated.

 

Turbo hose popped off?

Stop trying to overtake, pull over and call for recovery using the number on your windscreen and the card in your driver's handbook. Oh and duck as the people you overtook sneer and gloat at your misfortune.

 

Seriously, you did call for recovery?

check bottom intercooler hose as they have a tendency to pop off.

Mine did the same with 20 miles on clock, water hose burst, had to be recovered . VRS estate TDI.

Was the turbo pipe according to the Rac man, however he couldn't see how to re connect it properly so car is now at garage.
