Puddle of water - Electrics

Featured Replies

As some of you may be aware, I've been having some issues with my ECU. It's been 'repaired' but is still broken. Now when I took it back out to send back off again, I noticed something that didn't look quite right.

Now to me, this doesn't look right (you may have to zoom in) and it seems as if this has been going on for quite some time. I have had the loom checked and the issues were pointing to the ECU (hence me getting it repaired) so yes, the ECU was at fault. But this group of wires is part of the bottom clip that connects to the ECU.

Has anyone had any issues due to this puddling of water? I believe it is coming from the tunnel/scuttle under the windscreen wipers, not sure if this is a common problem or not? I could see a build up of dirt so it will be getting cleared out to see if that stops the income of water.

I really appreciate any help, I'm getting desperate as I've been without her for a month now and have been using my mums car as alternate transport, which is becoming an issue.

Thanks everyone,

Ben
