Amundsen - Post Code's?

Featured Replies

Am I missing something or is the Amundsen Satnav in the new MK3 doesn't do post code navigation?

I used it the other day for the first time and on my older Columbus in one of the search boxes I recall it saying something like Town/P.cD search or something, yes on the Amundsen it only states Town?

Its not a major issue, but would be handy if it done proper post code navigation?

Thank in advance.

Select 'new destination'
Select 'town'
Press the 'Ptcd' button in the bottom left corner.

Its crap though nearly every postcode ive put in comes up with an error "no address info for this postcode" and puts you near to but not at the location required.

My old Amundsen + seemed to work better in this respect; got me to practically everywhere I wanted to go by postcode alone, dont think the new Amundsen would manage that with the current mapping info.

My car was only built a couple of months ago too so has the latest nav info.

Thanks for that.

I presumed it was there, just couldn't work it out.

Thanks.

That's really strange, as I am now in 20k in my MkIII and I think it has only caused me an issue like that a couple of times, and I use it every day,

Agree with "wantaskoda" I got my car in Sept & every postcode used so far caused no problems. My only gripe is the lack of speed camera locations.
