Can any one tell me if the sill guards are hard to fit?  Are they just double sided sticky tape fitting?  peel off and stick down.  I was wondering about getting a set but when I spoke to me dealer they said there £44 plus fiting taking price to £88.

 Hello! Just buy them and fit them them yourself. I bought my set in superskoda. They are just plug and play: peel off and stick down. They come with some basic instructions, such like the optimal position and all.

If you are the owner of any sort of sense of humour I reckon you will laugh out loud when you read the official instructions for fitting these things.   I had to search for my feeler gauges to ensure the minute clearances and spacings recommended were  complied with.

 

Or you rub the sills with alcohol peel the backing off and slap the bu$$ers on.

I asked them in Mlada Boleslav if my warranty was at risk if I fitted them a couple of millimeters out.  Got no reply.Totally daft.

£44 to stick 4 bits of plastic down! Tell you what I'll do it for you for half the price (when I say I'll I mean my 3yr old son). 

 

It will take you minutes to do. Don't worry about the optimal position nonsense dry-try it then get it stuck down!

When they quoted £88 my reply..."sounds like ebay are the winners there" Still haven't got round to getting them mind
