Maxidot - mpg display

Featured Replies

Another niggling electronics matter on my Superb - the average mpg display which normally zeroes after a couple of hours seems to be stuck between 31.8 and 32.5mpg. I would normally expect to get around 40mpg on a run. Even after parking up all night - still shows between the 2 above. Any ideas? There are 2 fault codes - 01008 and 01336 but I don't think they are connected with his problem.

Are you sure you have display 1 selected? On mine there are 2 displays. One that resets or zeros itself like you describe and display 2 which stays put as an ongoing average for 100hours driving time I think . You can alternate between the two displays by pressing the button on the underside of the indicator stalk.

Thanks - Now all OK - must have tweaked the button accidentally - or it's a case of senile decay........... (again)
