Cheers tmb I will try that finger crossed

Get someone to pull the hub out towards you and use a small drift and a hammer to tap it out. Most come out quite easily with a bit of persuasion.

They rust in to the splines, you may be ok with a hot air gun and get it as hot as possible then a big 3 leg puller on the hub . Sometimes we have needed to remove the hub with shaft and use the 20 ton press to separate them. Use an old hacksaw blade to clean the splines in the hub afterwards.

Spray loads of wd40 on it, get some one to pull the hub outwards and hit it with a hammer

WD40 is pretty useless in such cases. Use a dismantling fluid such as PlusGas. Any good motor factor such as Euro Car Parts will have it.
