Cd changer problems please help

Featured Replies

Hi All I have just brought a 2005 skoda octavia vrs estate the cd changer does not work when I went to investigate some one has tried to repair it some how and there is no connectors there just some odd wiring bullet connectors. I have no wiring diagram or old connectors to go from. Was wondering if anyone could supply me with a wiring diagram to try and sort this mess out .

Thanks

Someone has hacked the wiring and installed and since removed an aftermarket setup. Getting the factory changer working again will most likely involve a new wiring loom for the changer back to the headunit.

The problem is that even the cd changer connector has gone as well so looks like I might need to get a new cd changer as well then.

Have a rake around a scrapyard and see what you can cut out and use.

There is one in a scarp yard near me i might be able to rip it and the loom out this weekend if still there.

If you don't mind that would be great how much do they want for it?
