You may fall foul of the law if yours is a pre facelift model.

Something to do with the FL model having separate rear reflectors but the pre FL has them incorporated into the light cluster and by having smoked lenses you effectively mask them off.

Don't do it.

 

They reduce the light output and look very 80's.
