Renault Turbines 15" 4x100

Featured Replies

I’m gauging interest in my Renault Turbines.  I’ve just bought some Ultraleggeras, have the original wheels and another couple of sets from other cars I used to own.  I really should make some space now as the kids can’t get to their bikes & I can’t get to my tools in the garage.

These look really nice – in my opinion – and are a direct fit for quite a lot of cars with a 4x100 PDC.  They took a bit of finding as the Renault boys and VeeDub scene snap them up before anyone else gets a look in as they also fit the Polo.  They are 15”, 6.5j, have an offset of 36 and as you can see from the pics are straight and true.  I’ll include the spigot rings and centre caps if they are needed but the tyres are going on my new Oz wheels.

They are becoming rare nowadays and although these aren’t perfect, they are good enough for me as a daily/winter wheel.  If you want perfection then look elsewhere.  If you want a straight set of wheels then these will be just right.

I’m after £250 collected, or I can arrange a courier if you like.  The wheels are in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and people are welcome to view them before buying.

Any questions, just ask.

Cheers,

Andrew.

they would look nice on my new eunos, not sure if they would fit, I know they are 4x100, but not sure what offset is needed on the eunos (mark I mazda MX5)

they would also need to be 195 50 14 tyres... what are the tyre size please?

They should fit on the Eunos as they came off a Mk1 MX5 in the first place.  The offset isn't too much so as to cause rubbing, some of those MX5 lads run 8j wheels with an offset of 25 - crazy.  These are only 6.5j and and an et of 36 and from what I remember, the Eunos/Mk1 MX5 is happy with an et of 35 to 45 without issues.

The wheels don't have any tyres on now as I've only just bought them and they are now on the replacement Oz wheels.  The pics of the wheels on the car are 195 50 15s, there's no stretch at all and the Rainsport 3 is a really good tyre.  Only £35.35 each from Camskill at the moment.

I'm open to offers too as I really need the space.  Give me a pm if you want any more info.

Cheers,

Andrew.

I have a bid on some original eunos wheels (the car I bought is on MR-2 wheels and they are not good!) on ebay, that ends in 2 days...... then I have no money until payday , but if I dont win the originals, I'll PM you at the end of march and make you an offer if you still have them :)

Sounds like a plan.  I'm in two minds to be honest as I really like them so if they don't sell I won't mind.  The Mrs however, might have a say in things.

The original Eunos wheels are quite popular at the moment as they fit loads of cars and in 15" guise, the tyres are really cheap.

Keep me informed.

I've now got the wheels swapped over and am clearing space in the garage.  I'll be putting these on ebay at the beginning of next month but I am open to offers before then. :)

I got the original daisys I was after, but free bump anyway , I like these wheels! :)

Doh! I've only just seen this, sorry.

The original MX5 wheels will look better for sure, the Speedlines are more suited to the 4x100 VW scene to be honest.  I've not made a real effort to sell them yet as I'd quite like to keep them.  Trouble is you can't run two sets of wheels and they are taking up room.

Thanks for the free bump anyway.
