With it being the first truly warm day of the year I thought I'd sort out the airbag warning light that had been annoying me over the last few weeks.

 

Straight to the forum and got a brilliant step by step guide on how to do it. 1 hour later, wires soldered, code cleared and warning light gone.

 

Then that point were you wonder why you bother, in that the steering warning light came on. A case of out of the frying pan and into the fire.

 

So back to the forum, and there reassured that this often happens when the battery has been disconnected and a quick drive round the block cures it. As was the case.

 

So, to my point, I'd like to thank all those people who have given freely of their time and expertise to help others work their way through problems with their cars. If only such a resource was to hand in my youth when I was struggling to keep a range of Capri's and Cortina's on the road!

 

Last job, what do I need to do to get the rear drivers door to open from the outside???
