Looking at replacing the head unit in the vRS ... have had Pioneer in the past but aware Alpine are good quality also ... any one recommend any either single or double din ?

Fitted, wired up the handsfree mic, sub install and it sounds great. So nice to have bluetooth streaming too. 

 

I felt the double din ones were a bit too laggy and you pay a lot more for something I wouldn't use whilst driving.

 

Just ordered a connects2 facia for tidier looking cubby hole. 

Is it hard to fit and wire what connectors / plugs did you order?

Did you need a cradle??

Pioneer head unit, £70 off amazon . Cd/iPod/aux connectivity and has multiple colour choices to match the green lighting
