Wheel Spacer Sizes

Featured Replies

Following a few threads and a bit of digging I've come up with this ROUGH guide. The figures in the grid shows the maximum wheel spacer size to leave approximately 2mm of clearance to the wheel arch. As for clearance on the inside of the wheel I'll leave that up to you!

This is only a guide and any fitting is at your own peril.

The following should hold true regardless of rim width, as the tyre will be the limiting factor.

.....................................Tyre width.............

......................185.......195.......205.......215

ET43 wheel........17.........12..........8..........3

ET38 wheel........12..........7..........2..........a

ET35 wheel.........9..........4...........0..........b

a=+2mm will be a very tight fit and prob foul

b=+5mm almost certainly foul

Hope this helps everyone
