High idle and sticky throttle

Help

Can anyone help me with a few things?

When I start my 07 vrs up it idles around 1500rpm then I blip the throttle I disappears.

Ive cleaned out my throttle body but that hasn't helped.

Any help would be good.

Next time it does it, don't blip the throttle. Instead, put your toes under the pedal and lift it upwards. You'll probably find that will bring the idle speed down. You can try and get a bit of WD40/lubrication spray up on top of the pedal where it hinges, otherwise a new pedal will sort it.

It's your alternator wire snapped, believe it or not.

Load sensing wire from the alternator anyway, the one beside the gearbox.

Sounds like the symptoms I had anyway so maybe worth checking, although my revs were more about 1,200.

I'd go for the pedal myself

Pedal - just had mine changed on an 07 SE vRS.
