Hi guys looking at taking my sub out as getting fed up of having no space in the boot! but may look at keeping the amp. Has anyone run just the fronts to the amp? if so whats the easiest way to do it? im assuming you can run speaker wire straight from the front speakers to the boot to the amp? 

 

Is there any easy way of doing this rather than taking the door card off etc?

you have no access to the speakers without removing the door card. Only way to avoid this is the cut the speaker cable at the headunit end which you really dont want to do.

 

Ideal way is run some extra cable from the speakers to the amp. Remember, you have tweeters too so will need to find a way of replacing the factory crossovers unless they are just using resistors inline with the tweeter.

 

Because they have mids and tweeters its not as simple as you might hope
