Octavia Estate 2.0 TDI PD Elegance 140BHP 2008 92k miles no DPF Metallic Silver

I’ve owned this since new. Registered 1 March 2008. I still live at the address on the original invoice. Company car forces sale otherwise I would be keeping this. Company funded Octavia III arrives in 2 weeks so I need to sell my old faithfull.

MOT & Taxed until 1 March 2015

92,000 mostly motorway miles.

As you would expect for a Briskodian this has been well looked after and all receipts provided with sale. Full service History (yearly)

Location Barnsley Just off Jct 37 M1 but work in Leeds daily.

Extras

Professionally tinted windows B pillar back

Factory fitted curtain airbags

Professionally fitted tow-bar with twin electrics (only used for light towing in 2009 then bought something else to tow)

Skoda mud flaps

Full Service History

On variable but car was serviced yearly, around every 15k miles (which is early for variable)

4 services at Skoda Leeds - Main dealer for Yorkshire

2 services at Sultas Leeds - Independant VAG specialist (Own Skoda parts supplied)

60 k miles Cambelt and waterpump replaced by Skoda Leeds

75 k miles – Original turbo removed, professionally refurbished and re-fitted (waste gate actuator failed) by Sultas Leeds

84 k miles new front disks/pads + oil and filter changed whilst it was in for brake work by Sultas Leeds

All filters, brake fluid, aircon etc serviced as per service schedule.

Condition

Excellent inside and out. No dents or rips, only very minor scratches/stone chips. Both flip keys.

Everything works  - no fault lights.

Washed most weekends by hand.

Notes

The 2008 TDI came with no DPF as standard so no MOT or DPF failure woes.

I average 50 mpg with steady driving. Easy to get 55mph if you drive at 60. Round town traffic this will drop as expected. See sig link for full fuely detail.

Comes with rubber floor mats. Fitted with Avon winter tyres at present. I do have 4 x Michelin energy but these are extra (as I can get more selling them separate) but if you want them we can do a deal and I could have them swapped for £ 50.

No finance as fully paid for.

Learn something every day, as i thought all 140's had a DPF, doh.

Agree on the learning daily.

Depends on the build date for Skoda back in 2008.

The BKD (the one that I have on my car) doesn't have a DPF.

The BKD (the one that I have on my car) doesn't have a DPF.

Never even heard of BKD either tbh.

Is this something like 'PD' in my Fabia then, just an engine letter code?

That price you've given it looks like it's pretty much bang on the money too for an 08' plate Ferret, so damned good luck with the sale...where's the piccies though!?

Photos added to gallery.

6 years of receipts and all MOT certs filed today. Buyer takes the file with the car.

Excellent photo's those Ferret.

Headlamp washers?

It got Xenons then?

That's right...it's the engine code. BKD was used on Octavia 2, Audi A3 Sport back, Golf V, and Seat Altea ( IIRC)

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Volkswagen_Group_diesel_engines

Wish they'd give them proper names like Fords Zetec.

Mind you, that's cionfusing too as it also refers to a level of trim.

Thanks all. See you in the Octy III section.

Well done that man.

That was a fine looking example and very resonably price imo.

Thanks Ree

Car dealer who lives next door said £ 5,500 easy for my private sale but I've a nice buyer waiting and not had to advertise on ebay, receive low offers and visiting tyre kickers.

WBAC offered £ 4.1k that would have been knocked down because of a tar spot no doubt.

Just need the new one to be delivered now!
