exhaust clamp keeps loosing tightness - im getting increased exhaust noise.. looking where it connects to the engine the clamp keeps coming loose slightly..

replaced the clamp.. was tight for 2 months now the noise is back

???

Im wondering if the exhaust is slowing the gasses from escaping due to internal crrosion ?? and thus its causing this ?

please excuse me if i know sod all.. its cos i dont. i just want a solution

Did you use new bolts and hot bolt paste?

um, no.. no bolt paste.. my mechanic never advised me about that. ill look it up. we used new clamp which included new bolt and nut

im just looking this up and i think im missing the gasket 

When i was sold the clamp it was just that.. no gasket... Mmmmm
