Hi Guys my Skoda Driving like a dream, however we are close now to going back to Portugal in two weeks time and will be driving through France,Spain. 

 

I have these Eurolite stickers for my headlights I am abit confused as to which head they should go on 

 

I have  the normal beam Projector Lights and I have the high beam normal headlight with blub sticking out of the light. So which Stickers should go on these lights for EU use. Does not make it clear in the instructions to which headlight it goes on. 

 

Also what are the tyre pressures for my Octly Estate 16inch Dunlop Sport tyres for full load is this correct from the petrol cap  ITS 3.1 BAR for the back tyres and 2.5 for the front tyres. Seems rather high for the back tyres!!!

 

I have tried to upload some pictures but keeps coming up with failed!! Any reason for this

They are not needed. The projectors have shutters in them that just need closing. A 5 minute job. Have a search on here or RTFM.

The tyre pressure chart should be inside the filler cap.

May seem rather high tyre pressures. But that is the manufacturers recommendation to be followed as you wish.

I have always used the 3 bar pressure when fully laden with camping gear and a heavy cycle rack on the towbar.

 

The front and rear tyres have then run at around the same temperatures even on long autoroute hauls. I'm convinced the pressures work for me.

So how do I shut the shutters then can someone advise on this ?

It can be done via maxidot.

I have done that cannot see anything in the maxdot menu for headlight conversion :think:

 

Only with factory xenons.

When I saw that the OP had an L&K then I presumed that xenons were a standard fitment.

Eurolite instructions couldn't be simpler, do exactly as the pack instructs and you won't have a problem. I all ways use them, never had a problem, never been flashed by oncoming traffic

I might be wrong, but I think some earlier L&K's did have halogens -- I'm sure andyvee's old L&K was on halogens as he put an HID kit into it, and Simbo did in his too -- both were on 55 plates though.

Nope Mike you are correct,

I thought all projectors had the bar to 'flat beam' the lights?

I think Xenons were only standard on L&K's from 2007 onwards. Before then it was a £500 option. However I don't think the Maxidot tourist mode was available until even later (FL?).

 

My 2006 L&K has factory Xenons and there is no tourist mode in maxidot.......however it does have the movable shutters to flatten the beam just like the Halogen lights. 

The tourist mode option will indeed have come in on the FL when the maxidot changed to all white.
