Dash lights dimming?

Featured Replies

It's ages since I've been on here"!

I have a very quick question. I have just got my car back from my son (I lent him my car almost 6 months ago!), anyway I was driving it home tonight and every time I turned off the interior light the dash lights dimmed. When I turned on the interior lights the dash brightened up again.

How do I make the dash stay on full brightness all the time?

And to put icing on the cake my car has to go in next week to get the compressor replaced (under warranty) - don't you just love kids!

Hi Sandy long time away, you lent your Yeti out for 6 months, would not let mine go to my son for 6hrs .

There is a light sensor for the dash lights for day and night illumination, the only way to adjust them is with the roller wheel switch to the right of the steering wheel, I find that I have to dim them a bit as full brightness is a little to high for me.

Hope the compressor gets sorted ok if it has failed make sure they flush the system out to get any metal fragments of the old compressor out.

Cheers, that rings a bell in the back of my mind - dunno how I'd make sure they flush it out but I'll mention it thanks
