On my old fabia which got wrote off I had the GT front bumper fitted and managed to recover the bumper attachment as it had no damage just scratches, but I did not manage to get the bottom plastic mesh bits which clip in..

 

I'm getting the bumper re sprayed for my new fabia but not sure what to do about the mesh as you cannot buy these separate or even the bumper anymore:( anyone got any ideas on what mesh to get and how to fit it?

There's loads in eBay mate, can get black powder coats stuff, I've got that on my wide mouth.

It's fitted by cutting it to shape, roughly a bit bigger than your cut out then using tiger seal behind it

I do like that bumper Is that a SEAT splitter underneath?

slowly I'll have a look at the mesh bit you're after, see if there's a part number on it somewhere

Part Numbers for the mesh inserts for the Sport bumper;

 

6YO 853 665 C, 6YO 853 666 C (left and right) 6YO 853 677 B (centre piece)

cool, 99% of the time, if it's got a part number, it can be found. I'd bet it has to come from Germany

 

There's still a stock (not sure how big) of GT/ Sport bumpers there.

Never managed to get some but in the end tried fitting the bumper with the standard grills still in and they work fine just had to trim down the clips for the grills that came with it as the standard one sits a bit further back. Cheers for your help anyway
