Fault Code Help?

Featured Replies

Two fault codes appearing... Any ideas what the problem could be

1.

Code; 61596

Climate control - climatic (1 fault code)

- Positioning motor, fresh air and circulation damper

-Short circuit (positive or open circuit)

-Permanent

2.

Code; 18009

-Relay for 30+volt supply implausible signal

-permanent

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

1 is a faulty recirc flap motor or the wiring to it. When you press recirc, does the sound through the vents change?

2 is a faulty terminal 30 relay and needs to be replaced.

I haven't checked the recirc, il do it tomorrow, easy fix??

Which 30 fuse is it on about? Where is it located??

Terminal 30 relay, not fuse.

Terminal 30 is just the name for a permanent positive supply. I presume terminal 30 relay refers to the relay which controls that supply. So you're looking for the relay which could be faulty. I'm not sure if it's located in the battery fuse area or under the dash. Someone else may know.

Ah, just seen rwbaldwin's post above.

Cheers guys seems like a bit of a headache removing all that lol

Il wait for weather to improve and il get straight on the case :)

What exactly do I need to buy/replace here? Could this relay 30 cause intermittent slightly shaky idle ? Been suspecting a faulty injector but could be this???

Is this where the aircon fault is aswell??
