Crashed FL Yeti already...

Featured Replies

I didn't go for it.

Too much damage and to be honest I've been too busy buying red Fabias lately.

Really? lol, I thought you'd 'retired'

Some nice wheels & tyres for sale maybe?

Was in car hire for many years so have lots of 'nearly new' crash stories but must admit this is a truly low mileage one.

My lowest mileage one was crashed with less than 20 miles from new, icy roof top car park, just slid into guard rail!

One of the most memorable was an overseas tourist who had come from a restaurant onto a single carriageway road at night, drove on the right hand side of the road into an oncoming car. He then asked for a replacement car - which I declined......

Were the occupants OK, bossfox?

My step-father bought a brand new Fiat Tempra. 500m out of the showroom and a wagon shot across a junction and turned it into a convertible. Luckily he managed to duck in time and only suffered minor cuts, but the fact he didn't have gap insurance hurt him more.

A good few years ago I was witness to a crash where an artic crashed into the back of a Ford Capri that was definitely written off.  The brand new Capri had just been collected from the dealer less than ½ mile away.  All the woman driver could say was, "I don't know what my husband will say", "I don't know what my husband will say", "I don't know what my husband will say".  It was like a stuck record.
