Reply from Skoda UK re - lowering springs on Rapid

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Ive just got off the phone from Skoda uk.

The reply went along the lines that if you put lowering springs on the vehicle it will not affect the overall warranty on

that vehicle. You can put them on, but if anything was to go wrong with the springs or shockies or anything around that area that they deem to have caused damage to the vehicle would not be covered by the warranty. They also said that the dealer would have to decifer if it was the springs that caused the damage or not and that the warranty would not cover the new springs.

Im off to order mine this weekend !

Hope this helps guys

What springs you going for?

If i were you i'd get that in writing first ! Means nothing if just a phone conversation!!

K:)

No need to get this in writing...This is always the case with non OEM parts and a potential Warranty claim

I'm afraid not every dealer see's it that way....no harm what so ever in getting it writing :)

Most seem to be 30mm anyway. Unless you are going for coil overs
