Vrs suspension

Featured Replies

I have sdi and was wondering if vrs suspension would fit my car and would it seat lower then a standerd fabia or would I be better of with coil overs I don't want to go to low

Edited by ScottSDI

I cant answer about the fitting but just wanted to say that i recently put Eibach springs in my car and it the best thing i think ive ever done to the car. The stock VRS springs are rubbish. My car takes pot holes better (less crashy), feels more planted, a lot less bounce when going over speed humps and uneven road etc. if i ever bought another VRS i would change the suspension within a week. Dont bother with the standard VRS springs. Just my opinion.

Think TDI vrs is lower than standard anyway and may have springs and shocks available off my 2007 vrs

Obviously with coilovers you can run whatever height you want, Eibach springs are good but don't lower much.

This is true, i think apex go lower and i still may go for them but for now, after having the Eibach's on, i cant belive how much better the car feels. Ok its not that low but before it was like a tractor so anything was better. It just absorbs bumps and pot holes so much better.

I liked the Eibach's but ended up on coilovers.

I want to lower but not to low and I don't want to use lowing springs

I recommend AP coilovers.

How much would they be matey

if you don't want to go too low, personally I'd recommend an AP lowering kit (springs and shocks combo) fro DPM performance. Great ride quality, lowered by around 30mm and not as harsh a ride as coilies.
