I'm based in Derby recently bought a Fabia 1.4 8v as a sensible family runabout and commuting donkey this is probably my 30th+ VAG group car over the last 30 years i have had several Mk1 Golf Gti's, Polo's ,Mk1 Scirroco's Jetta Gti's, Passatts etc i have 2 other cars a Seat Arosa 16v Sport and an Audi A4 2.4 30v V6 that is Supercharged and has to many modifications to list i said i wasnt going to touch the Fabia modification wise but i've bought a set of vrs shocks and springs and a leather steering wheel that were 2 cheap to ignore i've also got a set of Ocatvia 15" wheels on their way to me this week you cant help it can you !

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they
