Turtle wax?

Featured Replies

Turtle Wax on my car 5 mins after I applied it (white marks on the trim and paint). I was trying to apply it to two panles and then buff it off. Really Hard Work...!!

All pics aren't great because these were taken by my Iphone.

Please don't buy it and use it on your car, there are much better products and don't costs much more. Well worth the money

Couple of points to answer here.

That was some light hearted humour aimed at your use of capitals and to my mind unnecessary swearing. Only real point to make was that no one should get that het up about Turtlewax. I'm not on here to upset anyone.

WRONG: it was not lighthearted humour. It was you trying to act billy big balls saying I'm drunk. Which was untrue. An apology would of done.

Lastly look back at some of your previous threads, you will see I've been nothing but complimentary about the cleaning you've done. Look back at some of my threads and you'll see I really rate Turtle Wax Ice as a budget synthetic wax and I have championed a lot of products you would find for £2.00 in Asda.

Don't need to. As stated, you were acting billy big balls. Called you on it. Don't need a ten paragraph sentence to try and justify it.

Moving on.

Yes got the sonax (correct spelling Chris) and its gone on top of turtle wax. Looks good. Again.. I suppose the proof in the pudding will be how long it lasts. Bought r222 wax on a recommendation here so in a month or so when I'm not working, doing the swimming/football run shopping garden painting the house and get 5 minutes to myself ill apply that and see the difference hopefully.

I corrected the spelling

I did quite well I thought considering the connection is dropping out every few seconds!!

Waxy box for free did you say??? Over here son!!!

Errm that would be no!

Is this what all this upset is about really?

Just to save you looking for this.

No need to spend big, if you are prepared to wax once a month get some Poorboys Nattys Paste wax for about £15.00, all the looks of a £100 wax, just not as durable. Another great looker but a few more ££ is R222 at about £30.00. Spending big on wax is a bit of an ego-trap, not necessary, good prep is far more impoetant

The TW Synthetic Paste Polish (which is actually a wax) in a tub on Amazon for £10.00 is a good product, if that's what you have.

Yes that's what I have. It does look great. Looking great is the extent of my knowledge though ha ha. Great job, thank you. No do not mind waxing once a month, no problem there at all. Ill get that next a give it a go.

Thanks guys awesome

Enjoy the R222, it really is a very nice wax

Yours truly Billy Big Balls x
