Headlight adjuster screws? (pictures inside)

I appear to be missing one of mine.... how do they come on and off? i have a spare set of headlights im going to butcher!

the knurled end of that with the residue suggests to me they are pushed and bonded on. I'd try some araldite on it when you replace it.

 

Clean the crap off first with a wire brush to give you a clean surface

Is that a Fabia headlight? I thought both of the adjusters were on the top.

Yes its a fabia headlights, the actual adjusters are on top but they just spin the bit underneath

the bit that's missing is a thumbwheel that also adjusts them :)

hang on a sec; don't you have Xenons, which are self levelling? If so that bit isn't needed.

 

Scratch that, self levellers don't adjust the whole headlamp unit.
