I turned my aircon on earlier as it was a rather tropical 15.5 degrees And it started to make a strange noise, as if someone was blowing through a straw. Any ideas where to start looking?

Have you had it re gassed recently? Might be none left

Yeah got it gassed in September, along with the disinfectant and uv dye to test for leaks.
