Somewhere, there's a Yeti with my name on it....

Featured Replies

I've been checking out this forum since I ordered my Yeti back in January, so it seemed the right thing to do to post and say thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences - good, bad (and sometimes downright ugly!) I've learned so much - who knew that Yeti's come in more than just white and Jungle Green? It seems they come in black as well ........

Nothing new to add to anything that's been said before - dealer issues, long wait, uncommunicative dealer, long wait, still uncommunicative dealer, still waiting.

Anyway, thanks again and I'm sure I'll be around with lots of questions when my Yeti does eventually arrive!

When your yeti does finally arrive you will get a questionnaire from Skoda. Be sure to mark down your dealer on the lack of communication.

Ours was quite the opposite. We got a lot of updates - presumably because they had the score in mind.

pingo, Welcome to this forum, which you have been gleaning information about Yetis for sometime.  I do feel for you having to wait so long, especially with an uncommunicative dealer as well. I've never waited more than a week for a car, but must admit that in most cases they were one or two year old vehicles. However, the Yeti I bought was new and in stock at the time, which was most fortunate. The dealer only had to prepare the vehicle, complete the paperwork and for reasons I cannot fathom receive payment for the car. Ha. ha. One the day of pick up I had to wait nearly two hours before taking delivery and driving it home, because it had not been returned from having the windows tinted. Tinted windows are essential, due to the hot weather during summer here in Oz. :)

Wishing you lots of patience,

Banjobach
