White smoke?

Featured Replies

White smoke is coming from my exhaust, it only seems to be bad when on idle. But when I'm driving don't get white smoke but black which I know is normal for my car. Due to my map.

Any help?

I got alot of white smoke after blowing a rubber egr delete gasket and cracking the manifold. Check for leaks maybe ?

My friend noticed abit of white smoke coming out of mine at low revs but soon changed to black, not sure what it is tho

I get white on start up until warm but I know my EGR valve is knackered!

Usually white indicates water vapour, whereas black smoke unburnt fuel.

Most cars produce white vapour on cold start-up but soon stops when engine warm.

Other lurking causes could be head gasket, but, usually accompanied with a misfire of engine.

Can be also causes previously stated by my learned fellow members.

Also even told it maybe injectors?

Cleaned out the EGR and intercooler system completely. No change really. And check oil & water for head gasket. And no signs, doesn't sound like there's a misfire either though.
