Poorly Limping VRS

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Hoping someone might be able to shed some advice on an Issue thats arisisen on my 09 VRS Ltd Edition 2.0Tsi.

This morning I had the car washed, and when i went to drive away it was running as rough as anything, couphing and spluttering followed by the usual "engine fault workshop" message and the CEL light on.

Anyway, managed to nurse it home, plugged it into vagcom, the log is attached.

I went into measuring blocks and was looking at the throttle position which seemed to rise to 100% when the throttle was pressed to the floor, on releasing the pedal it returned to approx 5 degrees and then after a few seconds rose to approx 13 degrees.

Im presuming the throttle position sensor has had it, can anyone advise anything else it could be?

Thanks so much

Dan
