Took my car for the MOT and skoda didn't do it cos it was too low .. But they did check it over and say it was ok and shouldn't fail but give me a health check list and it says NSF cv boot clip missing ...anyone know where I can get one from?? Skoda have said £125.32 on the report surely they ain't that expensive ...

I am assuming you mean the strap that goes around the constant velocity joint rubber boot, keeping the rubber boot in position??

Try a simple plastic tie, use two if you can't get one long enough, (strapped together).

Yeah they said they have cable tied it for me ...was just looking for one to sort it but if there that expensive I'll leave it

They are peanuts for metal clamps

My one was cable tied (it popped off)

The cars came with metal clamps from the factory so thats what i got fitted to mine
