Marked change in fuel economy - should I be concerned?

Featured Replies

I filled up yesterday and the pump knocked off after 22 litres. In the end it took 37 litres - that would have skewed my figures if I'd believed the tank to be full at first click.

I always fill to the point I can see the fuel in the filler neck.

Me too, and I fail to see how doing otherwise can give an accurate figure.

I Agree with 137699 & vRSG60, I fill my tank to Just below the overflow point.

Mate has a Patrol and his milage was all over the place, noticed his front tyres were under inflated,

we checked and there was 5 PSI difference between them, put more air in them,  problem solved.

Hope this helps.
